Local HKSR RA consensus in 2019

On 15 February 2025, X ray Special Interest Group (SIG) organized a X ray workshop at Grantham Hospital on X ray Sharp Scoring. 24 participants joined that afternoon which included rheumatology trainees, fellows and rheumatology nurses. Dr Kitty Kwok and Dr Yvonne Ho who received training in Sharp score at Leiden Medical Center (Netherlands) shared their knowledge on how to apply Sharp score to X ray films of hands and feet. It helps to inform the radiological burden (Joint Space Narrowing and Erosions) in rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Carmen Ho has led a group in reviewing complex cases in workshop. Dr Tommy Lam provided films for the workshop. This time we also had the privilege to invite a private radiologist, Dr Winnie Chan, to share the X ray findings of different rheumatological conditions. All participants got the opportunities to score X rays and shared fruitful discussions with our speakers.
